Virtual Volcano Vacation challenge #130 – Postcard #1

It has come to my attention that I have been making it kind of easy for the Search Party to follow.me.  Maybe I should stop leaving a trail of my own trail mix  to find my way back home.  Instead, I have tried to remember how I got here from last week’s volcano. I walked east and had to cross the prime meridian, but did not cross the international date line, nor the equator.  You will not find a fresh trail of warm lava at this volcano either, as he last erupted between 80 and 100 years ago.

Extra Credit (1 point) – What do you call a flow of viscous lava that ponds over rather than flowing away from a volcanic vent?
Extra Credit (2 points) – What is another name for intrusive igneous rock?
