Virtual Volcano Vacation challenge #120 – Postcard #1

3D-rendered satellite image by Google Earth Pro

As much fun as it is to get acquainted with a volcano by diving headfirst into its summit vent, a volcano like this one deserves to be first admired from the ground. She’s tall….falling a little less than 200 m from being as tall as Etna. She’s also obviously very active….but not as active as Etna.   She’s not erupting at this moment like Etna, but has erupted in the last 10 years, …and I think I better stop comparing her to Etna except to say that she always keeps a cool head….unlike Etna.
