Apparently all this volcano-diving has really impaired my ability to math.  Yesterday’s clue had a huge error in it because frankly working with years beyond CE going into negative-numbers just isn’t something I should try without a bucket of counting-beans on hand.

So I went to have a look at my southwest neighbor.  This volcano is not as tall as the one to the north-northeast (which incidentally erupted almost 3,700 years prior to ‘my’ volcano as the edited post now reflects), but it has erupted more recently than the NNE neighbor.  But who cares about numbers because this neighbor-volcano has fumaroles and a nice little crater lake at its summit….well, nice if you like your crater-lakes on the acidic side.
